This year-round Academy offers a strong academic curriculum in a loving, caring environment. The school offers a program that provides individualized attention and maintains high academic standards. Montessori teaching tools and methods are used to ensure maximum developmental opportunities for children through age 6. Our strong academic program and 12 to 1 student - teacher ratio further facilitates optimum learning conditions. According to availability of space, children can be enrolled throughout the year. Extended care is available from 7:00am to 6:00pm. The school provides a well supervised secure playground area. "We provide an environment that helps the child develop emotionally, socially and physically as a whole," says Academy Director Melanie de Silva. "Due to our low student - teacher ratio, we are able to provide individualized attention to our students. The program includes Music, Art, Spanish and French. Dance, Gymnastics and Yoga classes are also available. |

Dear Ms. DeSilva,
We cannot begin to tell you how much it means to us that Willow has attended the Montessori Academy of Culver City. You should be very proud of what you have created.
The teachers are nurturing, thoughtful and amazingly energetic! Willow has very special relationships with Ms Williams, Ms. Melody, Ms. Gabby and Ms. Avalos. They are dear women whose hearts have expressed such love for Willow that it touches both Steven and me.
Willow has been accepted into the El Marino Language Immersion Program and will be starting their Japanese tract on September 2nd. So, Friday, August 29th will be her last day at the Montessori Academy of Culver City.
This is a most bittersweet event for us: your school has given her a great foundation and love for learning that will serve her well throughout her life. Fortunately, for us, Wylder will continue at the Montessori so we can keep seeing all of those beautiful faces.

Dear Ms. DaSilva,
After two wonderful years at the Montessori Academy of Culver City, Jacob will begin elementary school this September.
We have thoroughly enjoyed the caring environment, the wonderful teachers, and the other children that we have had the opportunity to meet during this time. We have recommended the school to several friends, and believe fully in your mission. We must acknowledge that none of it would be possible without the capable head teachers, and their amazing assistants. All of them deserve our praise and so much more.
The after-school activities also were a bonus, giving Jacob the opportunity to have even more enrichment several times a week with activities that he would not otherwise have a chance to engage in. Ms. Khefri's yoga class is phenomenal - and I would only hope all parents realize what a unique and immensely valuable opportunity this is for their children. Ms. Stephanie always has a sweet, kind, gentle voice and demeanor, even when dealing with the occasional difficult child in her dance class.
Please accept this letter as our final notice. Jacob will continue to attend through the month of August. Our deposit of $500 will be deducted from our August tuition.

Dear Gabby,
Having our children attend your school has been a wonderful experience, both for the children and for us as parents. We would like to compliment you and the rest of the school’s staff for your attention and dedication to the children. You went the extra mile to make our children feel welcome and loved, that is something you don’t often find in a school. I never once had to worry about the level of attention and care that my children were receiving, or their safety, while they were in your charge. Dear Ms. De Silva:
As you may already be aware, Sydney tested into the First Grade at the parochial school where we attend church, St. Augustine’s. Wendy and I wish to thank you and your staff for preparing Sydney for her next step in life. Wendy and I place much value in education, but also in our children’s religious training. You may have heard she tested in reading and math at the second grade level!
This is a testament to your schools dedication to the children and their growth.
The principal and psychologist at St. Augustine were certainly not without reservation in “accelerating” Sydney into the First Grade. They were impressed with her academic skills, but didn’t want to damage her social skills by placing her with older kids (little do they realize that Sydney thrives with older kids!) In the end they were confident that Sydney would do well, but they recommended and we agreed they Sydney attend their brief summer program and spend time with their First Grade teacher. Sydney will therefore attend the St. Augustine summer program from June 23 through July 25, 2003.

This letter is to show our deepest appreciation for the wonderful job you have done teaching basic knowledge to our daughter Tatiana. She has had a very productive 2 years attending your school.
